SumUp is brilliant for taking payments on the go, and getting your data out is just as easy. Whether you prefer the app or the desktop site, here is how to get your payout reports over to us so we can keep your accounts sorted.
Option 1: The Desktop Way (Recommended)
We generally prefer you download reports on a computer—it’s easier to manage the files and ensures you get the full picture.
- Log In: Head to your SumUp profile on a web browser and make sure you’re on the Home tab in the left-hand menu.
- Find the Downloads: Click on Download centre.
- Select Your Report: Hover over Payouts and click the download button that appears.
- Refine the Details: You’ll need to choose between daily or monthly reports (monthly is usually best for us!) and select the time period you want to cover.
- Export: Click Export file to confirm. This will download your report (usually as a PDF) so you can save it and send it our way.
Option 2: The App Way
Always on the move? You can grab what you need straight from your phone.
- Go to Payouts: Open the SumUp app and tap Payouts on the home screen.
- Head to Reports: Tap Reports.
- Pick Your Format: Choose the type of report you need (e.g., “Monthly payouts” or “Monthly fee invoice”) and select the date or month under “Report period”.
- Send it: Tap View report to check it first, or hit Send report to email it directly to yourself (or us!).
Dead Simple Tip: Want to automate this? inside the app, toggle the tabs under Email preferences to get your payout reports sent directly to your inbox daily or monthly. Set it, forget it, and forward it to us when tax time rolls around.
