Adding your accountant to QuickBooks Self-Employed makes it easier to stay on top of your taxes, income, and expenses. It gives them direct access to your financial data so they can handle the heavy lifting—leaving you free to focus on your business.
How to invite your accountant on QuickBooks Self-Employed
- Sign in to QuickBooks Self-Employed.
- Go to Settings (⚙), then choose Accountant.
- In the Accountant email field, enter your accountant’s email address.
- Select Send invitation.
- Choose Text a code to verify your identity. A verification code will be sent to your registered mobile number.
- Enter the code into the Verification code field, then select Continue.
Note:
- Your accountant will receive an email invitation.
- You’ll get a notification once they accept the invite.
- Once accepted, they can view your accounts through QuickBooks Online Accountant.
- If they don’t receive the invite, you can select Resend invitation.
